ASRF Qld Cancels Regional Qld Motoring Festival

Mackay Qld – 26 August to 1 September 2024

Due to lower-than-expected entry numbers, ASRF Qld regrets to announce the cancellation of Regional Qld Motoring Festival, originally scheduled to take place on 26 August to 1 September 2024 at Mackay Showgrounds, Mackay Qld.

In order to protect the investment of all parties concerned, the difficult decision was made to cancel as the entries to date would not cover the costs associated with a successful event.

ASRF Qld expresses its sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation. We understand the disappointment this may bring to our attendees, sponsors, event partners and supporters.

Refunds for event partners, entrants and Sponsors will be forthcoming from 25 June 2024. All Partners/Entrants/Sponsors will be contacted for relevant bank information and/or PayPal refunds will be issued less any Raffle tickets purchased.

The draw for the ASRF Qld Raffle Car (1932 Ford Roadster) that was previously scheduled to happen in Mackay will now take place at Cahill’s Speed Shop – Unit 4, Lot 5, 55 Christensen Rd, Stapylton Qld 4207. The 1932 Ford Roadster Raffle is a registered lottery and will continue with ticket sales available until 6pm on 31 August 2024. The draw will be at 8pm the same night and will be live streamed on the ASRF Qld Raffle Car Build facebook page (provided there is suitable network coverage).

We would like to invite you to be part of the Raffle car draw. Further details will be announced in the coming days.
